What is AnimToolbelt Mocap?
A Windows desktop application that brings multi-camera footage, calibration, motion processing and delivery into one workflow. It helps you take recorded performances into animation.
Is this a Maya plug-in?
No. Mocap is a standalone desktop application. Its motion-delivery workflow includes FBX and Maya HumanIK scenes, so you can continue retargeting and refining the motion in your animation tools.
Is Mocap included with AnimToolbelt Maya?
No. Maya and Mocap are separate products with separate licenses. A Maya license does not unlock Mocap.
How much does an Individual license cost?
Individual access is $65 USD per month or $499 USD per year, billed yearly. The yearly option saves $281 compared with 12 monthly payments. Online purchasing is coming soon. For team licensing, contact us about Enterprise.
Is there a free trial?
No. AnimToolbelt Mocap does not offer a free trial. An active Mocap license is required to use the licensed processing features.
Where can I download the application?
The download package is not available on this website yet. When it is ready, Download will start the download directly. Release notes and available packages will be listed under Versions.
Where are the setup guides?
The Documentation section is being prepared. Contact support if you need help with setup or want to discuss your capture workflow.
How do I activate my license?
Open Licensing in the desktop application and enter your license key and the email associated with your license. The License & Billing page provides activation and recovery options.
Can I work offline?
A verified Mocap license allows up to 15 days offline, ending sooner if your agreed access expires. Revalidate before that allowance ends, or use Offline activation from a connected phone or computer.
Can I move my license to another computer?
Deactivate the old computer in the application before activating the new one. If you cannot access the old computer, use the device recovery options under License & Billing. Deactivate all devices is available once every 60 days per license.
How does a shared Studio license work?
For an existing Studio license, an administrator activates and saves the signed license file to a shared location. Each computer selects Use Shared Studio File in Licensing. The administrator renews the file before expiry. For new team requirements, contact us about Enterprise licensing.
What should I include in a support request?
Include your Mocap version, Windows version, the steps that led to the problem and any error text. Use the Contact page. Do not send your full license key or activation codes.
